Nordic Skiing in PA
Went nordic skiing today at Hickory Run State park with my Dad and Judy. Snow was pretty good with only a few bare spots.

Rode at Blue Mt today with Jay, It was not too cold (32 is warm compared to a lot of CO skiing). I rented a Burton Board from Buckman's because nobody in the area rents tele gear, @ 160cm it was a bit too short but all they had. This was my first time riding since ~thanksgiving '04 so it too a little to get back into the swing of things and I fell trying to land some jumps and rail slides (again, I was able to stomp some landings after I got my boarding legs back) The best part was the snow cross run which included a few berms and rollers. I will prob. be sore in the a.m. from the falls in the park.
This question haas come up on every forum I am a member of and has caused quite a ongoing argument.
"A plane (747 passenger jet) is sitting on a runway that can move (some sort of band conveyor). The plane moves in one direction, while the conveyor moves in the opposite direction. This conveyor has a control system that tracks the planes speed and tunes the speed of the conveyor to be exactly the same (but in the opposite direction).
The question is:
Will the plane (747 passenger jet) take off or not?"
What to you think and why?
Went Telemarking on Thursday @ breck, 4-12" fresh snow, very out of shape. Met up with Steve Boyle, he was in town photographing the Snowboarding Grand Prix. Now I am in PA.
